I’m Pranali, a maternity photographer based in Reading, Berkshire. My own journey into motherhood completely shifted my perspective on life — and many priorities changed along the way. One of the most life-changing moments? Purchasing my very first DSLR almost 13 years ago, while I was expecting — and I’ve been hooked ever since.

You can choose the experience that speaks to you most. I started as a natural light photographer, but the UK’s ever-changing weather has taught me to expertly use external lighting in those gloomy days of winter — ensuring your images always turn out beautiful.
Each photoshoot is bespoke, personalised to your needs and thoughtfully designed to create the dream images you’ve always envisioned.
Whats Included in your photoshoot
No matter which session you choose, I’ll be there to gently guide you through it — so you don’t have to worry about a thing. I know how it feels… the mix of excitement, exhaustion, and all the emotions that come with this stage. These photoshoots aren’t just about pretty pictures — they’re a little moment for you, a chance to slow down, feel beautiful, and celebrate the incredible journey you’re on. Because you truly deserve that.
Your journey will start with a 20-minute consultation for me to understand your vision, pencil in the date you are looking for and get you booked with some paperwork if everything sounds good. Maternity Wardrobe and Styling Guidance —I'll help you choose outfits that reflect your family and photograph beautifully — nothing too fussy, just soft textures, earthy tones, and colours that flow naturally. You’ll also have access to my Maternity client wardrobe, if you’d like.
The Fitting Appointment prior to the photoshoot will help you pick your favourite gowns from my client wardrobe.
60-90 Min photoshoot is usually arranged early in the morning or late evening at Sunset if you go for outdoor shoots. In-home shoots or studio shoots are usually arranged in the first half of the day.
Reveal and Design appointment (Online or in-person) will be arranged 3 weeks after the photoshoot. This is when you will be viewing your beautiful portraits for the first time and finalise your package and print products.
I make sure that the photoshoot experience itself is a pleasant memory for you, after-all you will remember it every-time you look at your pictures on your walls.
Investment
£150 creative fee (booking fee) is due at the time of booking to secure your date and time, and is non-refundable. The rest will depend on the collection you go for..
Maternity session if booked alone it is charged at a full portrait session price and is priced half when booked with a newborn session.

The ideal time for a maternity session is between 27 and 34 weeks — when your bump is beautifully round, and you’re still comfortable enough to move and pose with ease. If you are late to enquire, Simply check with me. Every pregnancy is different and we’ll schedule your session when it feels right for you.
Booking these sessions early also helps in case of unforeseen circumstances, doctors appointments or weather. We will still have time to reschedule if needed in such scenarios. -

When it comes to newborn photography, I offer both home newborn shoots and studio newborn sessions. Each has its beauty. At home, you’re surrounded by your baby’s first space—the nursery you prepared, the chair where you rock them to sleep, the quiet familiarity of your own rhythm. But sometimes, leaving home can be a gift in itself.
