Family photoshoots are all about being together, fully present in this little pocket of time. It’s NOT about perfection and stiff poses where every strande of hair is perfectly placaed. It’s about holding your children close, playing with them, tickle-fights, hearing their laughter, feeling the warmth of your partner’s hand in yours, the way you look at each other without even realising it and I’ll be there guiding you gently to bring out the connection and weaving these pieces into a story. All you need to do is BE YOURSELF and don’t ask your children to behave and simply let the moments unfold. Those would be the real moments that will one day tug at your heart when you look back — the ones that remind you how this chapter of life truly felt.

Where in Berkshire do these photoshoots take place?
My family photography sessions take place around Reading and the surrounding Berkshire parks. I carefully choose outdoor locations that offer beautiful natural light, open space, and gentle interactive elements (logs to climb on, rocks, water element, trees for shade etc.)— places where children can explore, move, and simply be themselves.
Locations are also selected based on what they offer in different seasons, allowing each session to reflect the time of year. I photograph in soft morning or evening light, when everything feels calmer and more beautiful. You’re also very welcome to suggest a location that feels meaningful to your family. If you do, I’ll visit it in advance to understand the light and plan the session thoughtfully, so everything flows naturally on the day. The aim is always the same — a calm, unhurried experience, and photographs that feel natural, connected, and true to your family.
What should we wear for family photos?
Once your family session is booked, I’ll send you a simple styling guide to help you choose outfits from your own wardrobe. It focuses on colours, textures, and combinations that photograph beautifully and feel comfortable to wear.
Once you’ve shortlisted a few options, I’ll review them with you and share a feedback to help you pull everything together. We’ll finalise everything on a short consultation call, taking into account the location, the season, and how your family moves and connects.

Family Films
When you book your family photography session, you also have the option to add a family film. (from £250)
Sometimes, photos are not enough to capture those in between moments that only moving pictures can showcase. I create a shoft 3ish min films set to carefully chosen, licensed music and can be shared privately or on social media if you wish.
