Hello there, I am Pranali.
I am a wife, a mum to a 12-year-old and a fine art family photographer based in Shinfield, Reading. My photography journey started with my dad’s film camera as a teenager.
Being a Computer engineer and SAP Consultant, I never thought to embark on this creative journey to become a professional photographer. But, Like many other mums, I picked up a Digital SLR camera for the first time to capture my lil one and never looked back.
Family is the most crucial thing in my life! I am drawn to beautiful light and bold colours, and I love creating those fine art pieces of family art, often inspired by everyday mundane moments of life. I love to express the simple joys of life through pictures!
As humans, we all love the feeling of being connected and being loved. Family pictures can be powerful to evoke those feelings within us when we need them the most. They are not just another decoration on the wall; they tell our story and bind us together as a family! And when you come to me, you will receive precisely that; artistic and emotive images of your family that you will cherish for generations to come!
How does it work!
I'm with you every step of the way —from our first conversation to the moment your print products arrives at your door.

Timeline: I respond within 48 hours
We start with a conversation
Once you book, we'll have a detailed planning consultation—either in person, on the phone, or via video call. I'll ask about your family's personality, your children's favourite activities, and the kind of vibe you want. Then I'll help you choose the perfect location and timing.
You'll also receive my styling guide to help you coordinate outfits that photograph beautifully while still feeling like you.
Timeline: 2-4 weeks before your session
Planning Your Session
This is the fun part! Whether we're at your favorite park, your home, or exploring a beautiful location together, I'll gently guide you through the session. We'll incorporate activities your children love—playing, exploring, being together.
Here's what you need to know:
You don't need to know how to pose —I guide you through simple, natural interactions that feel like playing together, not posing for a camera. Most families tell me it just felt like spending time together. The resulting images look effortless, authentic, and completely un-posed.
Please don’t discipline your children during the session — I know it's tempting when they're being wild or not listening, but here's the truth: when children are being themselves, I capture the most beautiful, authentic images. The mess, the movement, the real personalities—that's where the magic happens. So please, don't stress over their behavior. I'm love to interact with children's at their natural energy level. you can bring snacks, favorite toys, or comfort items — Whatever helps them feel at ease. We want them comfortable, not performing.
No stiff poses. No "say cheese." Just real moments unfolding while I capture the connections that make your family uniquely yours.
Duration: Approx 1.5 hours
The Photo Experience
2-3 weeks after your session, you're invited to my home studio for a private viewing experience. I'll guide you through your beautifully edited gallery, help you select your favorite images, and design artwork that will look stunning in your home.
This isn't rushed—it's a relaxed, enjoyable experience where we make sure you get exactly what you want.
