Mother’s Day Mini Sessions, Reading, Uk
March 2026
Because you deserve to be in the photos too…
A short and sweet photoshoot that puts you in the frame with your babies – just 6 sessions available throughout March in Reading, Berkshire.
Mother’s Day Mini Sessions are for the mums who
are always behind the camera and hardly ever in the photos.
You’ve got thousands of pictures of your children on your phone but when you scroll back, you’re missing from most of those memories. Maybe you’re the one taking the photo. Maybe you don’t feel “photo‑ready”. Maybe life is just busy and you keep putting yourself off for later.
These sessions are a little pause button in the middle of all that busyness. A short session simply be with your children – to cuddle, play, breathe them in – while capture it all. No awkward posing or pressure to “behave” on kids.
This is your sign to finally step into the frame!

-UdeniAbout me
Hello!I’m a family photographer based in Reading and I’ve been working with families for the past eight years. Motherhood is what pushed me to pick up a camera in the first place – I wanted to freeze all those fleeting moments with my own child – and I haven’t looked back since.
A few fun facts about me: I’m a bit of a dreamer, editing images feels like meditation to me (I could happily get lost in the tiny transformations), and meeting new people gives me the same boost that a strong coffee does. I feel genuinely honoured every time a family trusts me to step into their world and tell a little piece of their story.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
That’s absolutely okay – I expect children to be themselves. I step in as a friend to your children rather than a “photographer with a big camera”. I love meeting them at their level, chatting to them, and letting them lead. Often they’re curious about the camera, excited to show me their favourite toy, or happy to play a little game.
I always come prepared with age‑appropriate activities and simple prompts so I can capture natural, genuine moments without them needing to stand still and pose. So please don’t worry about their behaviour – you just focus on being with them, and I’ll take care of the rest. I’ve got you (and them) completely covered.
-
These sessions are exclusively for mums and their children – little, big, or somewhere in between. With more people, I need more time to gently capture all the different relationships, and in a mini session I simply wouldn’t be able to do that justice.
If you’d love to include your partner or grandparents as well, please take a look at my regular family sessions here – I would be more than happy to photograph your whole family.
-
You’ll receive a simple styling guide to help you choose outfits straight from your own wardrobe. Nothing fancy or overwhelming – just gentle suggestions on colours, textures, and combinations that photograph beautifully and feel like you.
Once you’ve booked, I’ll send you all the details you need to prepare for your photoshoot, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
-
Approx 2 weeks post the photoshoot, you will be sent an online gallery with curated selection of images to choose from.
-
If the forecast is for a little drizzle, we’ll embrace it. I’d actually love to use that to our advantage and create something unique – think cosy cuddles under an umbrella and children splashing in puddles.
If it’s really pouring down and we’re facing a completely grey, miserable day, we’ll simply reschedule to another date. Your comfort (and your children’s) matters more than pushing through bad weather.
-
If you or your child are unwell or something unexpected comes up, you’re welcome to reschedule your session to a mutually convenient date. Please give me as much notice as you can so I can offer your original slot to another family.
If you choose to cancel altogether and not reschedule, your session fee will be non‑refundable and will be forfeited.
