  • Registered, and insured I bring all of my own equipment to the school.

    * I require nothing more than a room with enough window light. I will of course be using studio strobes to boost in the low light situation.

    * I come with an assistant who helps me with QR cards and makes sure that the kids look their best (faces wiped and hair fixed) while they wait for their photos. and I would appreciate it if the School provides a volunteer to help keep the flow going (someone who knows the class schedules well and coordinates classes coming in.) I understand the importance of minimizing disruption to their class time, so I work hard to get the children back to the classroom as quickly as possible.

    * I would require a student roaster preferably with parent emails at least 3 weeks before the school photo day to set up the ordering system. Parent emails will never be used for any other purpose other than informing them about school photos and it helps me reach them without troubling the school.

Backgrounds: I love black backgrounds for a fine art portrait style or dark grey backgrounds so they don’t clash with the school uniform. For group photos I use outdoors and school buildings as a backdrop.

The school will be provided digitals of the students if they need them for yearbooks. Staff photos, an option of having sibling photos done and print packages will be available. All prints will be delivered directly to the school. I will also handle all questions from families about ordering. I like to keep it simple, focusing on the art, and capturing the genuineness of childhood.

  • The process is simple and web-based with no obligation to purchase.  Each family will have their own password-protected gallery to view the images. Within 3 weeks of picture day, you will receive an email with a notification to place your orders. Parents will find 2-5 lifestyle images of their child in the gallery (depending on how expressive children were on photo day), and each will be presented in both color and black and white. Families may choose their own images, and order prints, canvas wraps, and digital files directly from the viewing gallery. I do not choose which photos you print; you do.

  • The rates are competitive and nothing is due up front, all profit is made from ordering. We offer a variety of collections and a-la-carte products to fit everyone's needs. CLICK HERE to download the price sheet (prices are subject to change).

  • Anytime, whichever works best for your school. Photo days vary depending on the size of your school.

  • There may be a make-up day scheduled for any children that happen to be absent on picture day. This will depend on each school and what they have arranged.

  • If it’s not the school Uniform then Children should avoid words/graphics and neon colors. Bright pink/orange/green are very difficult to work with as they cast colors on the skin. Choose neutral colors and simple solids work best for the timeless nature of fine art portraits. Remember, only their waist up will be in the picture! I also suggest avoiding large and bright hair bows that can detract from the facial features and often cast colors onto the skin.
